Description

This very nice antique wooden badminton racket which dates from c1900 has a teardrop shape head which has gut stringing, is marked with The Buckley and has an octagonal handle which is embossed with it's maker's mark of Slazenger.

This early badminton racket is a nice rare example that would be an excellent addition for a collector of badminton rackets or a museum piece.

Date: c1900.

Maker: Slazenger.

Model: The Buckley.

Dimensions: Length: 67 cm (26"). Width: 19.5 cm (7 3/4"). Depth: 3.5 cm (1 1/2").

Weight: 146 g.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with some age related wear, scuffs and a few marks. Please see pictures.
