Serpentine Bijouterie Table - Cabriole Legs - c1870

A lovely and unusual example of a Victorian Bijouterie Case.

The piece is crafted from mahogany and benefits from a gorgeous tri-form serpentine design.

The upper case incorporates the wonderfully shaped hinged lid with working lock. This rides over square section cabriole legs with uprising stretcher unified by a matching lower tier.

This cabinet has an interior nicely lined with a soft velvet textile.

Overall the cabinet is beautifully proportioned and is in excellent order. A fabulous piece which will look stunning wherever it is located.
