Description

A fresh and rather joyful piece of vernacular chair making

The projecting back carved with four graduated horeshoes. The horseshoes point downwards to imbue the sitter with love and good fortune, and perhaps by extension the clothes that are spun from the wool yarns.

108.5cm high x 26cm wide x 35.5cm deep

The stool is rock solid and will inspire good posture. There are two minor shrinkage splits to the back.
