MebleinUK has dated this Edwardian Mahogany Single Bed to the Edwardian era.

The warm mahogany has developed a rich colour and attractive patina, giving the bed considerable period character. The elegant proportions and restrained decoration are typical of the Edwardian period, when furniture became lighter and more refined than many Victorian designs.

Both the headboard and footboard stand on their original-style castors, while the bed is joined by sturdy metal side rails.
A particularly attractive antique bed which would work beautifully in a traditional bedroom, guest room, cottage or period property.
