A Fabulous Victorian Silver & Agate Knife and Fork

Description

A superb mid Victorian two piece set, in hallmarked silver. The fork and knife are hallmarked silver and date from the 1860's. The blade and tines are beautifully engraved with acanthus leaves and the handles are exquisitely carved banded agate in shades of bronze. Crafted by the great George Adams, they are probably for serving fruit and the duo would make a wonderful gift idea. Dimensions below.
