Description

A good quality pair of vintage silver plate candle stands with hurricane glass covers c1960. These candle stands have decorative silver plate on copper bases and inner sconces. The bell shaped hurricanes have silver plate bases which fit into the candleholder. The sconces are then placed on top, in turn topped by glass drip pans. The hurricanes are cut lead crystal with acid etched designs. The bases are marked Made in England, with a shell insignia on the opposite side. Impressive, stylish and decorative, they’re in excellent condition and make a real statement on the table or sideboard.
