A rare 19th century tradesman's wooden full sized figure of a Highland bagpiper sitting on a whisky barrel, stamped John Dewar & Sons, Distillers, Perth.

These figures were used for advertising by shopkeepers and merchants and were more commonly used to advertise tobacco. The barrel is a later replacement.
