Antique 20th century American chest of drawers in mahogany, a beautifully crafted piece displaying exceptional quality and elegant detailing throughout. Very well made and of good quality, this handsome chest offers generous storage while showcasing the refined craftsmanship associated with fine American furniture of the period.

The chest is fitted with four drawers in total, arranged as two smaller drawers above two larger graduating drawers, providing practical storage for clothing and household essentials. Each drawer retains its original decorative brass handles, while the chest stands on traditional bracket feet, giving it a strong yet graceful appearance.

Crafted from beautifully selected mahogany, the timber boasts gorgeous natural grain and a rich, warm colour throughout. Decorative satinwood stringing and attractive crossbanding frame the drawer fronts, while finely reeded edges add further elegance and demonstrate the care and skill invested in its construction.
