Regency Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A good quality mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. It is very well made with lovely rich timbers and an attractive bow front. It has three long drawers, each with beautiful flame mahogany drawer fronts and brass plate handles which, although aren't original, suit the piece well.

It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside with their original blue penny paper linings. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small marks and knocks and a couple of old repairs but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
