Description

This large and impressive silver plated trophy cup which is made by top Parisian silversmith Christofle dates from c1900 and would make an unusual wine cooler or Champagne ice bucket.

This antique cooler which has an ornate design around the top of it's body sits on it's pedestal foot which has the same design to the edge, has 2 large stylish side handles and is an impressive height at 27 cm.

A very nice quality antique piece by a top French maker that would make an unusual addition to a barware collection.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: c1900.

Maker: Christofle, France.

Marked: Marked to base with the maker's marks for Christofle: CC Scales mark. Christofle. 39. 2139410.

Dimensions: Diameter:18 cm (7"). Diameter including side handles: 26 cm (10 1/4"). Height including handles: 27 cm (10 1/2").

Weight: 1582 g.

Condition: Very good antique condition with some signs of use in keeping with age. Some surface scratches, marks, tarnishing and small bruises leaving a great decorative look. Please see pictures.
