This quality Antique Curb Bracelet is complete with an opening heart padlock fastening, modelled in Rolled Gold. The links are solid and it weighs an impressive 30 grams!

During the Victorian period, Padlock bracelets were worn by women whose significant others were leaving for an extended period of time. The bracelet would be locked on to the woman’s wrist by the padlock charm, to which only her beloved would have the key- he would then open it upon his return.

This bracelet is a very fine quality example which is in great condition.
