This handsome silver plated sauce boat which is by top French maker Christofle, is from their Gallia collection and dates from around the mid 20th century.

This stylish vintage sauciere or gravy boat has an eagle's head as a handle which has nice detail to the face and feathers. The underside is marked with the Christofle and Gallia marks.

A beautiful quality and highly sought after vintage piece of tableware that will look handsome on your dining table.

Material: Silver Plate.

Date: Mid 20th century.

Marks: Marked with the maker's marks for Christofle: Gallia France. OC Chess Piece mark. Prod Christofle.

Dimensions: Length: 23 cm (9"). Width: 15 cm (5 3/4"). Height: 17 cm (6 3/4").

Weight: 728 g.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches and marks consistent with age. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the sauce boat is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
