A Venetian landscape by Antonio DeVity (Italian, 1901–1993), the well-regarded mid-century artist best known for his romanticised views of Venice and Paris.

Painted in oil on canvas with characteristic impressionistic brushwork and impasto detailing, the composition captures gondolas gliding past classical Venetian architecture under a silvery sky. Signed A. DeVity to the lower left.
