Antique Victorian Walnut Credenza

Description

A superb quality Victorian 19th century figured walnut marquetry inlaid credenza. This chiffonier sideboard side display cabinet has book matched veneers with a lovely elegant moulded top to a frieze with boxwood scrolling foliate inlay to the burl burr walnut. The central door is further inlaid with a marquetry panel as are the convex shaped pillars. This central door is flanked by two 2 opening glazed side doors. The glass is original as are the locks and key. The whole is raised on a shaped base and with original gilt bronze / ormolu mounts. Circa 1860. This piece is in wonderful original condition. Our restorers can re-polish and re-line this cabinet if the purchaser so wishes.
