An impressive antique Queen Anne style burr walnut console table dating from the early 20th century, distinguished by its generous proportions, richly figured veneers and elegant cabriole-leg form.

The long rectangular top is veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut, displaying the swirling grain, warm colour and natural variation for which the timber is prized. Below are two substantial drawers, each faced in matching burr walnut and fitted with decorative brass handles, providing useful storage while maintaining the table’s refined symmetry.

The drawers are raised above a deeply shaped and pierced apron, introducing movement and decorative rhythm across the unusually wide façade.
