A Cracking Victorian Antique / Old Pine Shelved Knockdown Wardrobe to Wax/paint

This wardrobe is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it ready to wax or paint.

The wardrobe would look well in an old or modern property in a large bedroom amongst similar antique pine furniture for storage. Its main attribute is that it does knockdown into many pieces enabling it to go up 100% of staircases. It is simple to put together using wooden chucks. 

This is shelved but a hanging rail could be placed in the top if needed.

The wardrobe stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are two large drawers to the bottom with round turned wooden knobs, dovetail joints and are pine lined. Above are two large doors. Each door has one panel that is fielded and stands on original metal pin hinges. Behind the doors are three adjustable shelves. The shelves are not fixed so can be adjusted. There is a key to lock the doors. The top has a standard graduated cornice. The sides are have fluted columns and carved corbles. The sides are also panelled.

The height is 204cm, the width is 155cm and the depth is 70cm. The internal depth is 59cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
