London City Antiques has dated this Victorian Burr Walnut Credenza to the 1850s.
The shaped top sits above a central cupboard flanked by two bow front cupboards, each opening to reveal the original rich crimson fabric-lined interior with shelving, providing excellent practical storage.

This is a piece of outstanding quality with superb colour, beautifully figured timbers and excellent craftsmanship throughout. Equally at home in a traditional or contemporary interior, it would make an impressive statement as a sideboard, drinks cabinet or hall cabinet.

Condition Report:
Presented in good antique condition with only minor marks and surface wear commensurate with age and careful use. The burr walnut veneers retain a wonderful rich colour and figuring, the marquetry is crisp, the gilded brass mounts are original, and the interior retains its original crimson lining. A superb example of Victorian craftsmanship.
