Spinka & Co has dated this Antique Oak Coat Stand to the 1950s.
The upper section is fitted with eight double coat and hat hooks providing comprehensive hanging space. The vertical supports are united by built-in umbrella rails and terminate seamlessly to a robust square base. The bottom framework houses its removable metal drip tray, offering practical floor protection. Exhibiting a beautifully mellow colour and a soft, authentic patina, the original finish has been cleaned and hand waxed to preserve its historic character. This stylish hall stand came to us from a private home where it has been very well looked after over the years.

Condition Details: Minor wear consistent with age and history. Retains original finish which has been cleaned and waxed. The piece stands solid and sturdy; completely free of cracks, breaks, or woodworm. This coat stand would grace any entryway, both traditional and modern. c1950
