Beautiful pair of Edwardian walnut framed tub armchairs / salon chairs, dating from the early 20th century period.

An exceptionally elegant and decorative pair, featuring finely shaped solid walnut frames with beautifully flowing open arms, carved pierced back splats and turned front legs terminating on original brass and ceramic castors.

The chairs have wonderful proportions and a very refined silhouette, combining both comfort and decorative appeal. The carved detail to the back supports adds a lovely period character, while the gently curved arms and generous seats give the chairs a sophisticated and inviting appearance.

The walnut frames display a rich warm colour and attractive figuring throughout, beautifully complemented by the light blue patterned upholstery which works particularly well against the darker timber tones.
