Lee Hawkins Antiques & Interiors has dated this Victorian Burr Walnut Credenza to the 19th Century.
Classical mask mounts and cascading gilt-metal floral garlands divide the façade, giving the cabinet the opulent appearance associated with the finest Victorian drawing-room furniture.

At the centre, a pair of tall mirrored doors opens to reveal a spacious shelved interior, offering practical storage for tableware, books, drinks or decorative collections. The original-style mirror plates display pronounced age-related foxing and silvering losses, creating considerable period atmosphere and confirming the cabinet’s historic character.

The rounded ends incorporate three open display tiers to either side, backed with further mirror plates to reflect light and showcase porcelain, sculpture or treasured objects. The whole is raised on a deep burr walnut plinth, completing its balanced and substantial silhouette.
