The Chelsea Bijouterie Ltd has dated this Three Row Pearl Necklace to the 1950s.
The necklace comprises three graduated strands of creamy freshwater cultured pearls, individually hand-knotted and arranged to sit gracefully around the neckline. Measuring approximately 6.1–6.5mm, the near-round pearls display attractive pink and green overtones and excellent to very good lustre.
Its most striking feature is the beautifully modelled flowerhead clasp. Crafted in 925 silver, the clasp is set with a dramatic arrangement of seventeen natural blue sapphires in oval, marquise and round cuts, complemented by four small sparkling diamond accents. The deep blue stones form a richly dimensional floral cluster measuring approximately 24mm × 25mm.
The clasp can be worn at the back or front to one side, transforming the necklace from a traditional three-row pearl choker into a wonderfully glamorous statement jewel.
The necklace is accompanied by a Birmingham Assay Office Pearl Jewellery Report dated 29 July 2026. The report confirms that the pearls are beaded cultured freshwater pearls and that the clasp has been XRF tested as 925 silver and is set with natural sapphires.
