An Early Victorian Rosewood Chiffionier C1840

Description

An early Victorian Rosewood chiffionier dating from around 1840. This beautiful piece has a gallery back which is moulded and carved to each end with a shelf on curved supports. It has a moulded edge to the top with a long serpentine fronted frieze drawer underneath which is Oak lined. Underneath the drawer are two doors both of which has a moulded panel with a key and shelves inside. Down each side of the front is a turned column and it stands on a plinth base.

Measures: Height to Top: 34" x Height to Top Back: 49" x Depth: 21" x Width: 49"
