This amazing pair of antique wooden angel wings which are beautifully hand carved with a painted and gilt gesso finish date from the 18th century and originated in France.

These rare and beautiful large size wings have a stunning patina and have been fitted with later hooks to the backs and look fabulous hung on a wall.

Material: Wood.

Date: 18th Century.

Approx dimensions of each wing: Length: 84 cm (33"). Width: 20 cm (7 3/4"). Depth: 3 cm (1 1/4").

Total weight: 966 g.

Condition: Wonderful antique condition with age related wear. Some chips, cracks and general wear leaving a wonderful look. Some old woodworm which has been treated as a precaution. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the two wings are included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
