A beautiful 18th century solid elm Chinese side table c. 1770.

In excellent condition throughout and with a very well developed patina and beautiful warm colour with figured grain.

Elm is such a lovely timber, it has unique water and insect resistant properties and over centuries of use the grain and colour ripens to a dark honey colour.

No worm or significant marks, no repairs or other issues.

This side table is in very solid and usable original condition and the patina really glows.
