This is an exceptional Painting by Lucy Pratt

The scene is a sunny pastoral view framed by two large trees one on the left with a thick, textured brown trunk and leafy canopy in greens, yellows, and hints of orange, and another on the right whose trunk and branches partially enclose the composition.

Through this natural “window,” a bright green meadow opens up, dotted with several white sheep grazing peacefully.

Beyond the sheep lie golden-yellow fields, a low fence line, and more trees whose foliage shifts into warmer autumn tones of orange, red, and purple against a clear blue sky.

In the foreground, lush green undergrowth is alive with yellow wildflowers and small white blossoms, painted with energetic, visible brushstrokes that give the whole work a lively, textured quality.
