The globe contains.a clock of eight day duration striking the hours and a half hours on a cast bell giving a beautiful mellow chime.
As can be seen in the illustrations, the back of the Clock is signed August Moreau the renowned
Art Nouveau sculptor. Although the bronze is extremely heavy, Moreau has created an image that seems to be floating
The movement is inscribed H Luppens Paris a renowned Clock maker. The dial bears his name and Brussels where the Clock would have been retailed.
