19th Century Spindle Back Salon Sofa By C. Hindley & Sons

19th Century spindle-back salon sofa by C. Hindley & Sons.
 
Stamped C. Hindley and Sons, 134 Oxford Street, London, with an additional number stamp to the leg.
 
Traditionally upholstered throughout with a sprung seat.
 
Serpentine front edge.
 
Tapering barley twist front legs and barley twist back spindles. One front leg has sun bleaching/ discoloration
 
Original gilt brass castors to all legs.
 
Width 159cm x Depth 70cm x Height 63cm, with a seat height of 37cm and depth of 53cm.
 
 
Width 5 ft 2½'' x Depth 2 ft 3½'' x Height 2 ft 1'', with a seat height of 1 ft 2½'' and depth of 1 ft 8½''
