Description

Knole Sofa in Claret Red Velvet.

A good quality example, maker unknown, but with ironwork stamped by comyn ching & co, London.

In the style of the original from the 17th Century

Circa 1910

Drop Down Arms.

Having a coil sprung & horse hair filled seat, with a feather filled cushion.

The seat requires re-webbing and one arm requires a little work to stiffen up the frame. (both included). We can complete this prior to dispatch if you wish. Apart from that the rest is in usable condition if you prefer to keep the existing fabric.

CM: Width 194cm arms up - 275cm fully extended

Depth 75cm

Height 103cm

With a seat width of 168cm, seat depth 56cm and seat height of 43cm.

Feet and Inches: Width 6 ft 4" (arms up) – 9 ft 0" (fully extended)

Depth 2 ft 6"

Height 3 ft 5"

With a seat width of 5 ft 6", seat depth 1 ft 10" and seat height of 1 ft 5"
