Antique 19th century Victorian carved writing table in oak, an outstanding example of Victorian craftsmanship, exceptionally well made and of the finest quality.

Rich in character and beautifully proportioned, this impressive desk has been constructed with an exceptional level of care and attention to detail, making it a true statement piece.

The table is fitted with five drawers, arranged as two on either side with a full-width drawer to the centre, providing generous storage for stationery and everyday essentials. Each drawer retains its original brass handles, while the beautifully carved decoration throughout highlights the remarkable skill of the cabinet maker.

Standing on magnificent barley twist legs united by decorative stretchers, the table has an imposing yet elegant presence.

The oak displays stunning natural grain and a rich, warm colour throughout, complementing the intricate carving and giving the piece tremendous depth and character.
