Also Antique Furniture has dated this Georgian Bowfront Corner Cupboard to the 19th Century.
A handsome George III mahogany bowfront double-height corner cupboard dating from around 1800.
The lower section is enclosed by a further pair of matching panelled doors, providing generous storage throughout.

The cupboard is veneered in richly coloured mahogany with delicate boxwood line inlay framing the doors and panels. Its attractive bowfront profile gives it a softer appearance than the more commonly encountered straight-front corner cupboards, while the substantial double-height design makes it an impressive yet practical piece for a period or contemporary interior.

The upper section retains a working key.
A good example of late Georgian furniture, offering excellent storage and decorative appeal.

CONDITION
Presented in good antique condition overall, with the expected marks, knocks and scratches associated with over two centuries of use.

There is minor colour variation to the mahogany, and some small losses to the inlay and veneer. One working key is supplied for the upper cupboard; the lower cupboard is without a key.
The cupboard remains structurally sound and is an attractive, usable piece with good overall presence.

As with all antique and vintage furniture, this piece has been used and enjoyed over many years and should be expected to show signs of age and use. We aim to describe any significant faults, repairs or alterations as accurately and honestly as possible.
