The Fancy Fox has dated this Bloor Derby Chocolate Cup to the 19th Century.
The other side has a bold gilt pattern of stylised flowers and foliage and matching decoration to the cover. Gilt rims and details to the handles and knop. Red painted mark, c.1825.

It measures 9cm (3 1/2") high with the cover on, 6.8cm (2 5/8") to the rim and 12cm (4 3/4") wide across the handles.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear. Some fine shrinkage lines under the glaze around the knop terminals from manufacture.
