Antique 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond & Unheated Sapphire Ring, Circa 1905

Description

A magical Edwardian five stone ring crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum. The ring is set with three old cut diamonds rubover set in milgrained platinum which are interspaced by a pair of natural, unheated cushion cut sapphires. The low profile of the ring makes it very 'stackable', but also substantial enough to wear alone.

Accompanied by an independent diamond grading report from WGI.

Cut:  Old cut diamonds and cushion cut sapphires.

Colour:  The diamonds are I to J.

Clarity:  The diamonds are SI2 (eye-clean). The sapphires are lightly included.

Carat:  The total approximate diamond weight 0.55, with a total approximate sapphire weight of 0.45 carat.

Circa:  1905.

Size:  O (UK) or 7 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 19.3mm. The ring is 4.7mm at the widest point and sits 3.9mm from the finger.

Weight:  3.65 grams.

Metal:  Stamped '18CT&PT' indicating 18k gold and platinum, and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
