Pair of large-scale early C20th Chinese famille-verte porcelain lamps of mid C18th period design.

Of hexagonal form painted with vibrant brightly-coloured enamel decoration featuring traditional scenes of figures , landscapes and pavilion scenes , the shoulders of the necks with ‘dogs of foe’ or shishi applied in relief.

Mounted on moulded profile gilt-wood bases , the brass lamp-holder fittings mounted upon patinated brass plates .

A highly decorative pair of lamps in excellent condition with no damage or repairs , to add a sophisticated and oriental accent to an interior scheme.

Can be re-wired and tested to client’s specifications.
