Treasure Trove Worcester Ltd has dated this Italian Hand-blown Glass Ewer to the 1890s.
The globular body rises to a tall cylindrical neck terminating in a gently flared pouring lip and is fitted with a finely applied ribbed loop handle. The vessel is raised on a distinctive hollow spiral-twist pedestal above a folded circular foot, demonstrating the skill of the glassblower.

The clear glass displays the subtle surface undulations, occasional entrapped air bubbles and faint grey-green tint associated with traditional hand-blown production. The restrained form reflects the enduring influence of Venetian glassmaking.

Presented in very good antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are minor surface scratches and light internal wear consistent with age.
