Impressive Pair Of Japanese Brass And Enamel Champlevé Japanese Table Lamps.

The brass vases finely decorated with ornaments in the champlevé technique with inlayed coloured enamel standing on wooden base.

The champlevé technic means, that in the bronze by casting segments with decorations are saved, these segments are then filled with enamel and then placed in the kiln and the enamel melts down to the bronze and after that have been polished.

The plain cast brass decorated with fine ornaments.

Rewired with old style fabric cable

total height 65cm, till top of fitting 33cm, base 15cm diameter , the pleated white shades 43cm diameter.
