Description

A fine set of twelve Victorian mahogany Gothic Revival dining chairs, comprising ten single chairs and two matching carvers. Crafted in the distinctive Gothic style, each chair is raised upon elegant chamfered front legs adorned with finely carved ears, demonstrating the quality of the workmanship throughout.

The shaped backs feature beautifully carved Gothic tracery-style splats, surmounted by finely carved and moulded cresting rails, creating a striking and architectural appearance. The two carver chairs are fitted with gracefully swept arms supported by carved uprights, offering both comfort and elegance.

The chairs retain generously proportioned stuff-over seats, which have recently been professionally reupholstered in a quality fabric, complementing the rich mahogany frames and making the set ready for immediate use.
