This is a large and superb original Impressionist oil on canvas, executed with rich impasto, depicting an atmospheric Parisian cityscape with the majestic Eiffel Tower rising in the distance.

Dating to circa 1965–1970, this highly evocative work beautifully captures the charm and energy of the French capital on a bustling day. The lively composition features a horse-drawn cart travelling through the rain-swept boulevard, elegant flower stalls, and quaint Parisian boutiques, all rendered in a soft, luminous palette with expressive brushwork.
