This is a very fine-quality original Oil on Canvas Still Life depicting a beautifully composed arrangement of a single pear, two apples, berries, and a small cluster of plums, resting naturally upon the woodland floor.
Executed with remarkable precision, the painting displays an exceptional level of detail, from the rich textures of the fruit to the subtle interplay of light and shadow, creating a wonderfully lifelike composition.
The work is signed and dated in the lower right corner, 'F. Rowe '94' (1894), confirming its late Victorian origin.
