Regency Antique Papier Mache Tray by Clay of Covent Garden

A wonderful English Regency antique papier mache, japanned and decorated lovely shaped tray by one of the best London makers, Clay of King St, Covent Garden. In super condition and stamped underneath by the maker. The painted and gilt decorations are on both the inside and outer along with two pierced hand hold to each side. A beautiful decorative piece that dates to around 1815.
