Description

This beautiful MINTON BLUE AND WHITE POTTERY GARDEN SEAT dates from circa 1880. Although there is no Factory Mark Garden Seats of this design are known to have been made by Minton.

The transfer decoration is sharp and bright. The overall pattern is well balanced.

The condition is good. There is an old surface chip on the pierced section which is shown in the close-up photograph. This is not easily seen.

There is no restoration.

Height: 17.5 inches (44 cm)

Diameter of the top: 11.25 inches (29 cm)
