Fabulous Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Tankard With Owl Handle – Circa 1905

A Really Fabulous Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Tankard with a distinctive cast owl-form handle and a pedestal foot. The body is decorated with fine engraved scrollwork and foliate motifs, giving it an ornate, traditional appearance.
 
A shaped cartouche panel is reserved on one side for a monogram or presentation inscription, and it is currently unengraved. The handle is a strong decorative feature, with the owl rendered in relief and integrated into the scroll-form grip – circa 1905.
