Brief Description:
This is a truly magnificent, huge, original Dutch Still Life Oil on Canvas Painting depicting a breathtaking display of exotic flowers in a large ceramic urn.
The outstanding piece was commissioned by/owned by the historic Hassop Hall, Derbyshire.
The beautiful image portrays a massive flower arrangement set within an antique urn, mounted on a large stone pedestal on the balcony of a country residence.
With Tulips, roses, Irises, two butterflies and a bird''s nest with eggs.
Painted in the early 20th century in the manner and style of 18th-century Dutch Old Master painters.
The impressive piece is mounted within a good-quality (later) gilt moulded frame.
Circa 7 feet tall!
