George III Mahogany Chest on Chest – Circa 1780
 
A fine quality and very well-proportioned George III mahogany chest on chest, dating from the late 18th century. This elegant medium-sized example features two short over six long graduating drawers, retaining its original brass swan-neck handles and attractive dentil moulded cornice. Standing on shaped bracket feet, it offers excellent storage while remaining a practical size for modern homes. Beautifully figured mahogany throughout and professionally restored to a high standard, with a rich warm patina and excellent colour.
 
A superb piece of Georgian furniture, ready to grace any period or contemporary interior.
