The imposing superstructure is centred by a large bevelled mirror framed with finely carved floral ornament, whilst each side is flanked by elegant display compartments featuring wonderfully decorative amber ripple glass, intricate pierced fretwork, turned supports and delicate gallery tops. The lower section incorporates glazed display cupboards with textured glass panels, a generous central serving area, concealed storage below and beautifully carved rosette decoration, all executed with exceptional attention to detail.

The rich mahogany has developed a superb depth of colour and patina over more than a century, highlighting the remarkable craftsmanship synonymous with Lamb of Manchester, one of England's most respected makers of luxury furniture. Pieces by the firm remain highly sought after by collectors and interior designers alike due to their outstanding construction, originality and timeless appeal.

As both a practical sideboard and an extraordinary statement piece, this cabinet would become the centrepiece of a period dining room, country house, boutique hotel or luxury interior.
