Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Snuff / Pill Box - 1896 - Welsh Motto

This is a super antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box measuring 1 3/4'' (4.5 cms) x 1 1/4'' (3 cms) .
 
It opens and closes perfectly with a good strong hinge and the interior is in good condition and gilded inside.
 
It''s hallmarked for Birmingham 1896 with the silversmiths mark for Deakin & Francis and the lid is engraved with a lion and the Welsh motto ''Duw a digon'' which translates to ''without God, without anything, have God and have all''.
 
It weighs 28 grams/0.9 troy oz and the whole item is in super condition.
