A charming, rare late 17th century (circa 1680) joined oval oak gateleg table of small proportions with superb original patina.

This table consists of a solid oval oak top with original patina all supported on an oak base with turned baluster supports and trestle foot below with single gates.

Reference: a near identical example can be found in the book ‘Oak Furniture The British Tradition’ by Victor Chinnery, Page: 307 figure: 3:221

This table is in very good original condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home being a very versatile piece.
