Produced during the reign of Emperor Qianlong (17361795), this porcelain is characterised by underglaze cobalt blue painting on white clay, featuring landscape motifs, flora, and symbolic fauna crafted for both domestic use and Western export markets.

These platters were crafted from kaolin clay and petuntse, hand-shaped or moulded into faceted forms like canted rectangles, painted with cobalt blue pigment before being covered in a clear glaze and fired at high temperatures.
