ABOUT
Lorenzl Curtsy
Trained initially as a modeller at the Vienna Arsenal foundry, Lorenzl developed exceptional technical skill in casting and finishing bronze, which underpinned the refinement of his later work. By the 1920s and 1930s, he had established himself as a key figure in the Viennese decorative arts movement.

Lorenzl’s sculptures are characterised by elongated, graceful forms and a strong sense of movement. His female figures—often depicted as dancers—embody the energy and glamour of the Jazz Age, with flow.
