An elegant mid-19th century walnut gueridon dating to circa 1860, beautifully presented in a soft bleached finish that highlights the rich natural grain and finely carved detailing. Topped with its original shaped marble surface in subtle tones of ivory and grey, the table offers a refined balance of classical design and contemporary appeal.

The turned pedestal is richly carved with fluted decoration and rises from a substantial triform base supported by boldly carved scrolling feet terminating in stylised lion’s paw feet. The quality of the carving and the harmonious proportions are characteristic of fine French craftsmanship of the period.
