The superstructure is fitted with a central compartment flanked by two cupboards, each door decorated with classical urn inlay and opening to reveal fitted pigeonholes with shaped fronts. The central lower section retains its drawer and inkwell recess, with two inkwells present.The desk apron is fitted with a long central drawer flanked by two short drawers, all edged with line inlay and retaining attractive lion mask ring handles.The colour is warm and even throughout, with a pleasing patina consistent with age.
